Super hi-res and wide picture of Lyme Regis

Today we got up early and went to Lyme Regis. It looked lovely as the warm colours of the sun came through the clouds. So, I took another panoramic pictures. This time stitched together from 6 images.

It was taken from the Easter end of the beach looking towards the Cobb.

Sometimes your environment is the best (or worst) medicine

I was out early this morning and had to be in Lyme Regis, which is a small town on the Dorset coast. (Its famous Cobb harbour wall was the setting for a scene in the film The French Lieutenant's Woman )

This morning the tide was in, the sea was as calm as a lake, the sun was shining but still low in the sky and the place looked wonderful.

I only had time to take a couple of pictures and they are hardly of National Geographic quality but I thought you might like to see them.

This scene lifted my heart for a while and perhaps it can do the same for you. Nature truly can be a wonderful medicine.

Lyme Regis Christmas

I was out nice and early this morning; at Lyme Regis I saw their tree and for the first time this season I felt a bit Christmassy......

I decided to post this second picture as well of Lyme Regis. It was taken fron the same position as the first one posted but without the zoom. I love the blue of the sky.

Early Morning image of Lyme Regis, Dorset

I had to go out this morning bright and early. I stopped at Lyme Regis in Dorset just as the sun was rising over Lyme Bay. This picture was taken at around 5.30am, it looks towards the Cobb area from the Eastern end of the beach.

The colours were so wonderful I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures, this is the one I liked the best.
