It seems that even if you can not read and write English you can now be eligible to sit on a jury.

Even more bizarrely, not being able to understand English (never mind the complexities of English spoken in a legal setting), will no longer be a bar to being a juror.

It's almost as if someone, some where, wants to so discredit the jury system that they are sabotaging it from within.
